The meeting was called to order at approximately 1837
The meeting was adjourned at approximately 2103.
The BARC financial records will be transferred to a laptop computer that
can be brought to meetings. Guy KB1CRY will work on this with Jim N1ICN.
The BARC Repeater Operating Guide will be distributed as an addition to the
Mike KB1CKF is continuing to negotiate with Salvation Army officials
regarding a BARC radio shack.
A summary of the BARC 1999 Field Day activities has been written by
Mike N1IST and will be featured in the August SPARC.
BARC has received a very nice handwritten Thank You letter from the Boston
Private Industrial Council as a result of the club's participation in the
1999 Aviation Expo, Logan Airport. We hosted an intern, provided by the
Council, who helped us at our booth.
Bob WA1IDA showed samples of SPARC issues returned to us by the Post
Office which should have been forwarded to the addresses shown on the
yellow PO correction address labels. Discussion ensued.
Discussion about BARC Emergency Response Team (ERT) participation in the
September 25 MEMA Safety Fair, Framingham. A BARC Simulated Emergency Test
(SET) Planning Committee has been formed and details will be forthcoming.
