The meeting started at approximately 1838 hrs.
- K1NUN , as the new President, named the
following members to the Executive Committee: Mike Ardai, N1IST; Bob
WA1IDA; and Joe Harris, KB1IXK. More
appointments may follow.
- The club and
individuals have received letters of thanks from the City of Boston for
communications support during the Democratic National Convention.
- The VE
sessions will resume on the second Mondays (except this October because
holiday) at the Pierce School in Brookline,
now that renovations are done and school is back in session.
- The club
meeting notice has been accepted for publication in World
Radio. We have received certificates for free World
Radio subscriptions to be used as
- Bob, WA1IDA,
mentioned upcoming Public Service events: The Monster Challenge
Ice Cream FunFest, and the BAA Half Marathon.
- A preliminary
inventory of club equipment has been completed. It is expected that a
few additions will be made as we
overlooked items. We will look into
costs to purchase insurance for our equipment.
- The cookout
is set to be held September 12, 2004 at the Bear Cove Fire Museum in
